These terms govern your use of hashbitstudio.com, operated by HashBitStudio (SMC-Private) Ltd. By browsing the site or sending us a message through it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About these terms

This page is about the website. It is not the contract for a project. If we work together, that engagement is governed by a separate signed agreement, and this page does not replace it — see Project engagements below.

Who we are

HashBitStudio (SMC-Private) Ltd is a company registered in Pakistan, with our studio in Islamabad. We design and build web and mobile applications, user interfaces, AI and blockchain products, and graphics design work. You can reach us at hello@hashbitstudio.com.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site — the text, layout, design, code, animation, graphics, logos, and the case studies and portfolio pieces we present — belongs to us or to the clients and partners who licensed it to us. It is protected by copyright and other intellectual property law.

You may view the site and share links to it. You may quote a short passage with attribution and a link back. You may not copy, republish, adapt, or use any part of the site commercially without our written permission. Client names, brand marks and product imagery shown in our work belong to their respective owners and appear here to illustrate our involvement — nothing on this site grants you a licence to use them.

Acceptable use

When you use this site, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download the site or its content by any automated means, or use it to train a machine learning model, without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, its APIs, or any connected system.
• Probe, scan or test the site for vulnerabilities, or interfere with its normal operation, including by overloading our contact endpoint.
• Submit false, misleading or impersonating information through the contact form, or use it to send spam, advertising or unsolicited recruitment.
• Upload or transmit anything containing malware, or any material that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Remove, obscure or alter any copyright or proprietary notice on the site.

Our contact form is protected by automated bot detection and rate limiting. Requests that look abusive are blocked or throttled. We may restrict access to the site for anyone who breaches this section.

Project engagements

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and sending us an inquiry does not create a contract between us. Rates, timelines, scope and deliverables shown or discussed here are indicative.

Client work is governed by a separate signed agreement — typically a proposal, statement of work or master services agreement. Where that signed agreement differs from these terms, the signed agreement prevails for everything relating to the engagement, including deliverables, ownership of work product, confidentiality, payment and liability. Third-party links and services

This site links to other websites and embeds third-party tools, including a scheduling widget for booking calls. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We take care to keep the site accurate, but we do not warrant that its content is complete, current or error-free, that the site will be uninterrupted or secure, or that any defect will be corrected. Content may be updated or removed at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HashBitStudio (SMC-Private) Ltd, its directors, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of this site — whether the claim is framed in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, and even if we were advised such loss was possible.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising from your use of this site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for access to the site, which is nothing, or PKR 10,000. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Liability arising from a client project is governed by the signed agreement for that project, not by this section.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HashBitStudio (SMC-Private) Ltd and its directors, employees and contractors against any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right in connection with your use of the site.

Severability and waiver

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted, or severed if it cannot be, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that is not a waiver of it.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. You and we agree that the courts of Pakistan sitting at Islamabad have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site or our business changes. The current version is always on this page, and the “last updated” date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
